Our Story
In 2022, two design pioneers, Nyende Bebo, and his brother, the late Siro, set out to create a new kind of design agency. They wanted to produce intelligent, imaginative, and inspiring work; work that would disrupt the industry and create timeless value and inherent desire for every brand they partnered with.
Born from the idea that identity is layered and powerful. Inspired by our mixed-race background, the company embraces diversity as its creative foundation.. Our name is the embodiment of a collective passion. It’s the exhilarating quest that begins with a deep dive of discovery and in the end surfaces a unique and valuable object of desire.
Today Third Root continues to do just that—operating from our studios in Kampala, Uganda evolving as a multi-disciplinary, integrated global agency, our original principles guide us more than ever.

Do you offer naming?
While we don’t provide company naming, we may make naming suggestions for sub-brands or products during our brand architecture work. For full naming services, we have a number of trusted partners to recommend.
Do you do web development?
We do not offer in-house web development services, but we can recommend several agencies. Regardless of who you choose to work with, we have a proven handoff and support process we’re happy to discuss if you’re open to working with multiple partners.
What about another service i dont see listed here?
Let’s chat! Our retainer offering allows our agency to be more agile and take on a variety of projects. If we aren’t a fit, we may be able to recommend another agency or freelancer.

- We kickoff each week with a working session – A one-hour meeting at the start of the week (typically Monday afternoons or Tuesday) to align on strategy, feedback, direction, and priorities.
- Async review and feedback loop – We deliver work every Friday, paired with a recorded walkthrough from our team. This allows you and your stakeholders to review it on your own time.
- Unified feedback – Most of our partners use Mondays to gather internal thoughts and feedback, ensuring that by our weekly working session, feedback is clear, actionable, and ready to be discussed.

What is the difference between a rebarnd and a refresh?
First, let’s clear up a common misconception: A rebrand doesn’t always mean changing your company’s name. While that can be part of the process, a rebrand is much bigger—it starts with brand strategy, identifying opportunities in your market and distilling your company’s ethos into a clear direction. From there, the scope may include a new logo, visual and verbal identity, website, and more.
A brand refresh, on the other hand, is a more focused evolution. It often includes a lighter strategy phase and refines your existing brand rather than overhauling it. If you have a solid foundation but need more structure or refinement, a refresh can help bring clarity and consistency.
